Refer a customer
Know a founder whose pipeline still waits on them? Send them our way, and pay less.
You already run your sales on SalesARC. When someone you refer becomes a customer, 10% of what they pay each month comes off your bill, for as long as you both keep paying. Your link is under Team → Billing in the SalesARC app.
How it works
Three steps. You share a link; we do the rest.
10% of recurring monthly fees only, never on Playbook builds, setup and onboarding fees, or any other one-time charge.
01
Share your link
Your referral link is under Team → Billing in the SalesARC app. Send it to a founder who is still the only person selling. It never expires.
02
They become a customer
They book a call, we build their Playbook with them and onboard their team. A referral counts when the customer you referred pays their first invoice. The credit starts with that invoice and follows every monthly payment after it.
03
10% of their monthly fee comes off yours
Every month they pay, 10% of their monthly fees is credited against your next invoice, for as long as you both keep paying.
What it is worth
A worked example, from our published prices.
ArcClaw™ Prospecting Agents Basic is $499 a month. Refer a customer on that plan and this is what comes off your bill:
One referral · $499/mo
$49.90 a month off your bill
$598.80 a year, every year you both stay
Two referrals · $499/mo each
$99.80 a month off your bill
$1,197.60 a year, every year you all stay
In any month, your credits never exceed your own monthly bill. Whatever is left over waits for the next month. Each monthly fee the customer pays counts, for as long as they pay it. The one-time Playbook build, setup fees and usage-billed charges do not.
The rules, in plain sight
What counts, what does not, and where the credit goes.
- 10% of the recurring monthly subscription fees the customer you referred pays SalesARC, for as long as you both keep paying. Not on Playbook builds, setup and onboarding fees, or any other one-time charge, and not on usage-billed charges such as BDR hours and metered AI usage.
- In any month, your credits never exceed your own monthly bill. Whatever is left over waits for the next month.
- Credits only ever lower your SalesARC bill. They are never paid out, refunded or transferred.
- A referral counts when the customer you referred pays their first invoice. The credit starts with that invoice and follows every monthly payment after it.
- Your link never expires. A visitor who uses it has 90 days to become a customer for the referral to count.
- The first referrer wins. If a partner and a customer, or two customers, refer the same person, whoever referred them first is credited, never both. A referral is credited by the person referred, not by company.
- You cannot refer your own team, anyone on it, or a company you own part of.
- A company that is already a SalesARC customer, or already talking to us, when you refer it does not count.
- The customer you refer pays our published prices. The credit is yours; there is no discount on their side.
Coaches, fractional executives and agencies who refer clients have their own program, paid in cash: the SalesARC Partner Program
FAQ
Questions customers ask first.
- Who can refer a customer?
- Any paying SalesARC customer. Anyone who manages your team’s billing can see the link. Your link is under Team → Billing in the SalesARC app. Staff, demo and free accounts do not have one.
- What do I get?
- 10% of the recurring monthly subscription fees the customer you referred pays SalesARC, taken off your own SalesARC bill, for as long as you both keep paying. Nothing is earned on Playbook builds, setup and onboarding fees, or any other one-time charge, nor on usage-billed charges such as BDR hours and metered AI usage.
- Is it cash?
- No. Credits only ever lower your SalesARC bill. They are never paid out, refunded or transferred. If you pay by card, Stripe applies the credit to your next invoice automatically. If we invoice you, the credit appears on your next invoice from us.
- Can the credit be bigger than my bill?
- In any month, your credits never exceed your own monthly bill. Whatever is left over waits for the next month. So two large referrals on a small plan would bring your bill to zero and carry the rest forward, month by month, for as long as everyone keeps paying.
- When does a referral count?
- A referral counts when the customer you referred pays their first invoice. The credit starts with that invoice and follows every monthly payment after it. Clicks and booked calls show on your Billing page before then, so you can see where each referral is.
- How is a referral tracked?
- Your link sets a 90-day cookie on our site. If the person it brought signs up or books a call inside that window, the referral is yours. The first referrer wins. If a partner and a customer, or two customers, refer the same person, whoever referred them first is credited, never both. A referral is credited by the person referred, not by company.
- Does the customer I refer get a discount?
- The customer you refer pays our published prices. The credit is yours; there is no discount on their side.
- Can I refer my own company or a colleague?
- You cannot refer your own team, anyone on it, or a company you own part of. A company that is already a SalesARC customer, or already talking to us, when you refer it does not count.
- What happens if either of us stops paying?
- The credit follows both bills. When the customer you referred stops paying, the credit on them stops. If your own account is suspended or cancelled, your link pauses and nothing more is credited until it is back.
- How is this different from the partner program?
- The partner program pays coaches, fractional executives and agencies a cash commission for the clients they refer. Refer a customer is for SalesARC customers, and it lowers your bill instead of paying out. The first referrer wins, and nobody is credited twice for the same person.
